Flying

If you are flying into the Washington D.C. area, it is best to fly into Ronald Reagan Airport (DCA). It is a short 15-minute drive to Alexandria (feel free to order an uber or use the free hotel shuttle!).

Dulles International Airport (IAD) is a second option, ~45 minutes to Alexandria

Baltimore International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI) is a final option, ~60 minutes to Alexandria

Train

Riding the train is another excellent option to travel to the Washington D.C. area.

Union Station is one of the nation’s iconic train stations, facing our nation’s capital. And it is only ~20 minutes to Alexandria

Or head directly to Alexandria station, but beware the train may stop at Union Station for an extended period before traveling to Alexandria

Drive

For those local to the area, driving is also great way to get to Alexandria.

The Alexandrian hotel will offer discounted overnight parking for guests. Once you’ve arrived, you can leave the car at the hotel for the weekend, as the wedding festivities will not require guests to individually drive to each venue.
